 A Brief History of Bonita Men's Golf Association

For more than 50 years the Bonita Men's Golf Association has existed as a not-for profit association of golfers that desire a certified handicap. The first home for Bonita Golf was the site of the Plaza Bonita Shopping mall at I-805 and SR 54 and relocated to the current site in Bonita Valley in the early 1980's. A few of the original members still play at Bonita.

A full 18-hole layout measuring 6200 yards from the championship tees with a slope rating of 69.2/118. A great course to walk and plenty of shade trees for your comfort but require the golfer to hit it straight. The golf club offers a friendly lounge for after golf relaxation or just meeting a friend for lunch.

The Men's Club of about 400 golfers offers monthly tournaments for its members and monthly membership meetings with informative programs from time to time, as well as bring the members up to date regarding rules and upcoming events.
